The Good Hike is designed to experience the beauty of nature while giving back to those in need. We are a campaign to hike for hunger relief with all of the proceeds benefitting well established hunger relief non-profits.

1 in 7 Americans struggle with hunger. We want to help these people by donating to nonprofits that believe that everyone should have access to the fundamental necessities of life. This year, we are raising funds to support: Feeding America, a nationwide hunger solution network & Victory Teaching Farm in Mobile, AL.

We are a group of hikers from all walks of life that come together to experience the beauty of nature while helping out where we can in our communities. Our goal is to hike for hunger relief and raise money before and during our hike to donate to a hunger relief organization in our community.

The Good Hike started its first campaign in 2012 with five hikers. We raised money all summer long then hiked The Grand Canyon on Labor Day weekend in an effort to hike for hunger relief. Through fundraising events leading up to our hike and individuals that sponsored us per mile as we hiked, we raised just under $10,000 which provided thousands of meals to those in need through Conscious Alliance.

In May 2014, eight hikers from around the country hiked the expanse of The Grand Canyon to raise money and awareness for hunger relief. In 2014 we chose Conscious Alliance once again as our benfactor and donated thousands of dollars to their hunger relief mission.

Thank you to all of you who continue to support us as we hike for hunger relief and help us provide thousands of meals to Americans in need.
